Course Overview

Comprehensive program designed to create industry-ready Mechanical Engineers

The B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (with optional specialization in Automobile Engineering or Smart Manufacturing) at BSDU is a four-year undergraduate program that builds strong foundations in mechanical sciences, manufacturing technologies, and industrial systems.

The program enables students to apply engineering principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, materials, manufacturing systems, mechatronics, automation, and digital tools to design, analyse, and manage mechanical and automotive systems. Emphasis is placed on hands-on learning, laboratory practice, industry projects, simulation, testing, data analysis, and real-world problem solving.

Graduates develop the ability to conceive, design, implement, and manage mechanical, automotive, and smart manufacturing systems while ensuring quality, efficiency, safety, and sustainability in industrial operations.
